  • Some photos

Noah was playing a match at the Racquet Club yesterday afternoon. His doubles partner was his classmate. They did very well. We all went to watch him play. It was really good to see how much he has improved since this summer. Dave, Saadi, Sayeed and Shelley were there to cheer him and his partner on. It was good to be together.

Here's Andrew serving. He is a really cute kid. Wonderful parents.

    And it was an ace!

Zain with Andrew and Shelley, who is hidden. That Zain is growing so fast. You should see the way he smiles. Just too cute for words.

    I love holding him.

He looks comfortable doesn't he? He tries to talk to me by making sweet sounds and puckering his lips, and then his eyebrows get all up and down, like he is talking to me with his eyebrows. Adorable! Dave is so engrossed in the game on the court down below.

I love Italian and French chocolates. Got a box of Baci (kisses) and I love the way they are arranged in their box. Each one has a message or a quote, like " those promises, those perfumes, those infinite kisses will all be born again." Another quote I got  was also cute. it said, " your caress brushes my cheeks, my vision is blurred".  Who wouldn't like these chocolates!

  • That shot of you holding Zain, with Dave in the background, really made me smile! It's good to see that Dave is feeling well enough to be out watching his son play tennis. And Noah is playing in good form!

    • Thank you Janet. It was a good afternoon for all of us to get out. Zain is a cutie. Noah loves tennis. If he could, he would play every day. Three days during the week and once over the weekend, doesn't seem like he gets enough tennis, according to him!

  • Agree with Janet. You holding Zain is wonderful. Grandmothers have more fun than most mothers---you might be the exception.

  • I like everything about you.

  • What grandbaby wouldn't be comfortable with such a Nana?

  • Noah has grown up! If you hadn't said it was him I don't know if I'd have believed! Looks like he is going to be a big tennis star(maybe a tennis scholarship to a big college)! And that new prince Zain is too cute for words but then all the grandsons are handsome. Hope the fortunes in the chocolates are good ones and they all come true!

    • Noah is quite tall, and really enjoys tennis. He will not accept a tennis scholarship. Sayeed who was a state champion in tennis, refused it also. He didn't want to be a "pawn" for the college, and wanted to do well in his studies first and foremost. He played for the college and led the college into championship for the first time in eighteen years... but that's where it ended. Noah wants to do the same.
The chocolates are so good Val. Unfortunately we don't get them here often.

  • Love the pictures of you with the gr4and-baby!

  • Did I ever tell you I have a killer backhand? Oh, and a killer serve? Oh, and a killer lob? And when I play the net, well, you guessed it: it's killer!

  • These photos make me smile! :-)
I'm so glad to see all of you having fun and spending time together!
You holding Zain brings happy tears to my eyes! :-) I know you are a wonderful Grandmother! :-)
Those chocolates sound so cool! I'd buy them just to read the messages! :-)
    HUGS!!!

    • I thank you Miriam. I have great faith in the power of prayers. I am really grateful to you for including me and my family in your prayers.

  • I love the picture of you and Zain. It's good to see all of you together. It's good to see Dave looking better and I hope you're doing well.

    • Thank you Matt. Zain is getting to be cuter by the day. He just smiles and smiles and loves to be held. Yes, I thank God that Dave is beginning to feel better. Hope all his lab results come out good.

  • RYC my new faucet. I'm afraid I don't go back to posts I've commented on. Usually, because I've forgotten.
I do like the sprayer. It's good for when coffee grounds get spread around the sink.

  • I forgot to say about Dava on the pictures . We see him on the first photo ( back ) and on the last . I hope his sufferings are diminishing and bearable .
    Love
    Michel

    • Dear Michel,
It seems like Dave's pain is beginning to improve. These past few days have been fairly good. Praying that he will continue to feel better every day.

  • You look awfully happy holding that baby!! So sweet!

    • Thank you. I am so blessed that my children live close by and I can indulge in holding and loving them like this.

  • i didn't expect to see noah so... TALL. he seems taller than me. zain looks adorable. and very content to be resting against his grandma :)
