  • Noah Starts College

My first prince Noah Started college yesterday. No words to say how emotional it was to let him go away. Even though it is only 3 hours away, the fact that he is not hovering around us, is disturbing to say the least. But, fortunately for the advances of technology and the phone system, Saadi and Dave have instant connection to him. He has texted me several times too. Saadi showed me these pictures of when Noah and his little gang of same age babies who used to have a baby date, 18 years ago, and what they look like now. Same babies!

First frame, Noah is third from right in the red romper suit. His expression is priceless... saying, "meh, I don't care!"

In the second frame, he was almost rolling over the first baby on the left. Noah is second on the left.
I thought it was a cute picture of both times. All these kids have now gone to college or are on their way this week.  I have no idea why that black frame is showing up.

  • I guessed that was Noah in the first picture. Of my younger grand kids that live here in town, 3 are in high school (one of those is a great-grand), 1 in Jr. Hi, 1 in 1st grade and 1 in 3rd.
That is special to have pictures of Noah and his friends as babies and then all grown up.

  • Ha! The recreation of the photo is really fun! It is wonderful that Noah is fledging and finding his spot in the scheme of the world. College is hard on everyone and the adjustment takes time BUT the homecoming at holidays is so much fun!

  • He will do you all proud, I'm certain.

  • Time doesn't stand still. Love the pictures. My oldest grandson is 17. Just unbelievable how fast that time flies. Blessings on your grandchildren as they move on to college. :)

  • Where in the world is that state park?

  • Many Blessings are wished for your Noah as he starts this new adventure in life. My youngest son had his first college class today. I drove him to his dorm Saturday and walked all around campus with him, finding his class buildings, not leaving until 7pm, but knowing he would have all night and Sunday to get acquainted with his roommate and living away from home before classes start.
It is a new change for all of us. These young ones have been a major presence in our past, but they are our country's future!

    • Thank you for such a lovely comment. I hope your son will do exceptionally well in college too.

  • Those are great photos

  • Time flies faster than ever these days. Best of luck to Noah.

Getting ready to post something. Stay tuned.

Any chance we'll see you at the Dialogue: Racism workshop in three weeks?

  • Valerie said it well. The holiday breaks will be so much fun! My youngest grandchild Colleen and I send one another text messages and photos. I miss her!
