  • The Tango

    Sayeed and Shelley danced in the "Dancing with the Stars" locally to benefit The Corner Stone organization for abused families etc. They danced the Tango. It was such a beautiful dance and they did it so elegantly. Their movements were so fluid and elegant.

    Shelley's mother and her husband came down for the event. I loved the performance and the evening. There were eighteen couples who danced, and Sayeed and Shelley won their division for the International performance. Here are some pictures.

    Xanga is screwing with me with regards to posting the pictures properly and in order of performance. I need to take care of this.

  • I have problems with Xanga too -- I now post using Firefox browser, and it works just fine!

  • I copy and paste the photos from my Word Press. I hope the photos do get properly sequenced. It seems to have been a lovely event.

  • Yes -- the photos are visible here. They are different sizes, though -- some large and some smaller.

    • Oh Thank you Janet. The smaller photos were taken on the cell phone, and the larger ones, Shelley sent me. She received them from the professional photographer.
      I wonder why I was asked to "approve" your comment just now. That was rather strange.

  • I love the B&W (3rd one) it shows such movement and emotion! The 5th one shows your son's gaze at his wife - full of passion! They no doubt blew the competition out of the water!

    • They are such love birds. Praise God. I loved the B&W photo also. They were the only couple who danced a classic dance like that. All the other couples were dancing like acrobats and jumping around, doing all kinds of neat and funny things with their moves, but in my opinion no one looked as elegant as these two. And I am not biased when I say that. ;)

  • @ZSA_MD: That's odd about approving my comment -- and I notice that my profile pic didn't come through either. I haven't changed anything -- I hope it's not a harbinger of issues to come! That's interesting too about the photos taken on cell phone are smaller than the others! They're all good shots, and show the fun they are having!
